Ok. Im my head this painting is inspired by dinosaurs and I can't tell you exactly why, but I know I'm right. Something about that industrial form with the little 'legs' is giving animal. And if it is an animal the age and patina on the metal is trying to tell us its prehistoric.... or at least that what I imagine. Regardless, this painting's unusual subject matter for a still life drew me to it and gives it a little humor. The textured on this one is extra thick. It measures 22.5" x 18.5
